![]() ![]() Please note that Texas Instruments is unable to issue a new license number without a valid proof of purchase.Ī bit annoying for me but I guess it does make sense to prevent people from getting the software for free. ![]() I just got a reply from customer support, a quote from this email: In case TI doesn't resolve this, how can I still update firmware/install apps onto the calculator without the CAS Student Software? I don’t know where it would be, but I erased my MacBook Pro and restored from a TimeMachine backup and did not have to enter the license key again. Unfortunately, my friend couldn't find the receipts for this calculator either.ĭo you think TI will even consider this case without me having any receipts? ago Your time machine backup should have the license key. I tried asking this friend if he still had the activation code because apparently, it comes with the packaging of the calculator, but unfortunately, he couldn't find it as this calculator is several years old.Īs I'm based in the UK, I couldn't find a UK number for TI's customer care team, so I emailed them a day ago explaining this situation, and have yet to receive a response. When I tried using the CAS Student Software, I noticed it asked for an activation code otherwise it's only a 30-day free trial. I was recently given a TI-Nspire CX CAS from a friend who no longer needed it. ![]()
